We got tired of scrolling overseas thrift stores and op-shops we couldn't actually buy from here in New Zealand. So we started doing it ourselves.
Every piece on this site is hand-picked from racks overseas — thrifted, vintage, one of one. No mass orders, no restocks. If it's gone, it's gone, so if something catches your eye, don't sleep on it.

Everything's shipped from New Zealand once it's sold. Here's what to expect:

Orders ship within 3 business days of purchase. You'll get a tracking number by email once it's on its way.
Since every piece is one of one, we don't offer exchanges — but if what arrives doesn't match its description, reach out within 7 days of delivery and we'll sort it out.
These terms cover your purchase from MT Clothing. By placing an order, you're agreeing to them. See also our , which covers how we handle your personal information.
Everything sold on MT Clothing is secondhand, thrifted, or vintage, and each listing is a single physical item — once it's sold, it's gone. Items may show signs of normal wear consistent with their age; we do our best to note condition accurately in each listing.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order with us.
Prices are listed in New Zealand dollars (NZD). Payment is processed securely through Stripe at checkout — we never see or store your card details. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order (for example, if an item was already sold or there was a listing error), in which case you'll be refunded in full.
We currently ship to New Zealand and Australia. See our Shipping page for costs and estimated delivery times. Once an order is handed to the courier, delivery times are outside our control.
Because every item is one of one, we don't accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. If an item arrives significantly different from its listing description, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll work with you on a resolution, which may include a repair, replacement where possible, or refund.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right or remedy you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986 (New Zealand), or the Australian Consumer Law (for orders shipped to Australia). Where those laws apply and can't lawfully be excluded, they aren't affected by anything in these terms.
We'll always do our best to describe items accurately and ship them safely, but we can't guarantee the site will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we're not liable for delays or issues caused by couriers or events outside our control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we're not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in this section limits liability that can't lawfully be excluded, including under the consumer protection laws referred to above.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any dispute arising from them will be handled in the courts of New Zealand, regardless of where you're located.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use the site or place orders after changes means you accept the updated terms.

This explains what personal information we collect when you shop with us, why, and what your rights are. It applies to everyone who buys from MT Clothing, in New Zealand and Australia.
When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and order details (what you bought, when, and for how much). We never see or store your card number — that's handled entirely by Stripe.
We use a small number of trusted service providers to actually run the site, and your information passes through them as part of that:
We don't sell your personal information to anyone, ever.
We keep order records for as long as reasonably needed for accounting, legal, and customer service purposes.
Under the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand) and equivalent Australian privacy law, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it's wrong. To do either, just email us.
